Find My Model and IMEI
Not sure which BlackBerry you have? It’s understandable. They often look the same, however in order to generate the correct unlock code you have to pick your exact model. You can always find the exact model of your BlackBerry smartphone by doing the following:
- From the home screen go to options
- Then click About
If that doesn’t help.. You can always find the model number and IMEI underneath the battery, by removing the battery door and battery. Below is an example of the BlackBerry Bold 9700:

How to find IMEI: It’s pretty simple to find your BlackBerry’s IMEI number. Simply dial *#06# from your BlackBerry and it will display your IMEI on screen. If you would like to see an example click here.
For CDMA smartphones like the BlackBerry Storm 9530/9550, Tour 9630, and Bold 9650, etc: It is very important when ordering that you provide us with the IMEI, not the ESN number found under the battery. To find your IMEI simply dial *#06# and the IMEI will be displayed on your screen.

Keep in mind device colors will vary from carrier, and some models like VERY similar (ie. Bold 9700 and 9780).
